Projects

A decade ago while having breakfast with my daughter, we were discussing sustainability. I had been involved in a couple professional projects, including working with Nike Sustainable Business and Innovation. I learned a ton from some of the smartest people at Nike and was sharing my experiences with my daughter. This discussion was also further influenced by 'Adventourous Thinking' a weekend workshop held at Stanford and led by innovation expert, Sally Dominquez (she's awesome).  As I recall, we were leaving breakfast and I requested a cup for my coffee and of course, it came with a separate single-use plastic lid. I didn't want it nor did I need it, but it was part of the package. This led to the idea of an integrated lid for beverage container patent that I pursued and as of this writing (12/24) and still awaiting assignment.  Once the assignment is granted, I will share more.
